The PCSS Camden Conference course was delighted to host Professor Francesco Duina, Chair of Sociology at Bates College, for a virtual guest lecture on "Not So Right After All?," an analysis of Far Right Populist Parties in Europe. Professor Duina's talk centered on the rise of populism and its role in the European Union in light of increased immigration and international economic activity, and how Americans might seek to understand the political situations in Sweden, the Netherlands, and France.
It was an informative and thought-provoking afternoon, and Professor Duina said he was grateful for the opportunity to visit with our class.
