Thanks to Herring Brothers Meats, Guilford Mount Kineo Masonic Lodge and Gordon’s Construction, MSAD #4 was able to provide families with hams for the Holiday weekend.
Even the storm didn’t stop us! All hands on deck, even the Superintendent came down from the quarterdeck to the galley to help.

REMINDER: Friday we will be delivering meals at 1:00 PM due to the snow storm. Don't forget to have a bin/cooler out for use to put your food into. If there is no container available we will leave the food at the mouth of your driveway. Stay safe and keep your ears open for our honk to notify you of delivery! Thank you!
Good Evening, this is Kelly MacFadyen, superintendent of MSAD #4. We are following the recommendation made by our Commissioner of Education, which was supported by the Governor to replace classroom instruction with remote learning for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. We will continue to provide remote learning until June 9th unless the Governor declares it is safe to return to on-site learning. If that were to happen we would consider returning so that students and staff could have closure for this academic year.
Please view our website for more details and on-going updates as we navigate through is difficult time. Spring is here, and I miss seeing the students practicing and playing sports from my office window. But we are all committed to staying healthy so we can get back to school as soon as possible.
Stay home, stay connected, be safe and know that we miss you!

-The First Grade Team
Just a reminder that if you participate in our district meal program to pleaae put a cooler or bin at the end of your driveway for food to be placed into. If you do not have a container food will be placed at the end of your driveway in the bag it is packed in. Drivers will honk when food is dropped off. We will no longer be bringing food to doors of homes to help ensure the health and safety of our families and staff. Thank you!!!

SAD #4 Families:
There will be a few changes to our food program effective April 6th. They are as follows:
*Vehicles will leave the campus with food at 9am and will be occur on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
*We are asking that families put a tote or cooler at the end of their driveway for food to be placed into. If a box is not available, bags will be dropped off at the end of the driveway. Buses will honk when food has been dropped off.
This will allow us to continue to support our community with food for as long as possible while also decreasing possible exposure to the coronavirus within our community. As circumstances change we will continue to make adjustments to our food program as appropriate. Thank you for your support and stay healthy!
A message from Erica Strout - SAD 4 Occupational Therapist
I wanted to let you know that I have found a really great "Virtual OTs" youtube channel that a couple of OTs that I've worked with and also gone to college with have made and shared. The link is below.
There are some really great activities and strategies that parents can use with their children to work on a variety of skills with supplies that they may have already around their home. And if parents would like to reach out to me with any questions about their child's OT needs during the school closure, they can email me at estrout@sad4.org

Due to the bad weather predicted for tomorrow morning, Monday the 30th, we will not be doing food deliveries. We plan to resume deliveries on Tuesday the 31st. Stay safe everyone.
I rode the bus today and was so impressed with our bus drivers. They know all of our students and it is obvious how much they care.
